Today, we introduce you to Wellness Advocate, Global Explorer, and Music Lover, Necibe Ozer. As Community Director at Bonjuk Bay, Necibe curates unforgettable events for those visiting the beautiful Turkish haven. Bonjuk Bay brings together imaginative, aware, and like-minded people to celebrate life and share transformational experiences. It’s a perfect partnership for ICBRKR, and we can’t wait to host our second ICBRKR Experience of the summer there. Necibe, we’re so excited to be working with you on our ICBRKR Experience in Bonjuk Bay. So we can properly introduce you to our community, can you please share with us what you do, and how you ended up in Bonjuk Bay?
I have a corporate background in brand building. After 15 years of working for leading cosmetics and technology companies, I arrived at a place where I felt like I had to stop. That very exact moment, I found myself in Bonjuk Bay. A two-day getaway turned into three months in this sacred land where I healed, transformed and got truly inspired...
That was when I met my chosen family. After solo-travelling for about a year, spending time in different communities, I knew I wanted to work on community building. And since 2018, this is where I’ve been.
And what a beautiful place to be! Can you tell us more about Bonjuk Bay? Why is it special to you?
Bonjuk is more than a space for me. It is home, it is family, it’s a playground. A couple of years ago, it played a key role in my journey. I transformed. After that, I felt like I needed to pay my gratitude to this land, to its people. I wanted everyone to have the same opportunity I had. As much as I love storytelling, I prefer to help people experience everything special about Bonjuk Bay when they get here. I love leading the journeys of those who visit, and seeing their happy faces is the most beautiful gift.
What inspired you to do what you do?
It was more the flow than any inspiration. Life brought me to this place and I’ve been trying to express myself in everything I do. Pretty much everything you see here comes from the heart.
Now that we’ve been planning this ICBRKR Experience for a while, what would you say you like most about ICBRKR?
Bonjuk believes in growth through unity. We aim to bring like-minded people in our land or in our projects, and we loved the idea of welcoming ICBRKRs here. I trust that it will be one magical weekend…
As a Music Lover, what is your favorite song?
I’m a big-time lover, with no favorite song.
How about your favorite city?
I don’t like cities; I’m in love with nature. I usually end up exploring beaches and forests and deserts. Two of my favorite spots are Si’an Kaan in Tulum, Mexico, and the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica.
